elrte 2.0

Hi,
I love elRTE and I would like to start using it in a new project.
I would like to know the status of the project, and the development status of the 2.0 branch.

Currently elRTE 2 release is frozen, I would it is only 30% complete, it is available in git master branch but it's not usable for production. elRTE 2 as well as elFinder 2 is complete rewrite from scratch.

I believe that someday we will release it, but I'm not sure when it will be.

By the way, it seems that elRTE 1.x is currently supported and actively developed. Do you suggest to use it for a new project?

Yes, this is latest stable version elRTE 1.3
